Is SuperMoney RBI approved?

No. SuperMoney is a U.S. company and is not regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. The RBI does not license or approve SuperMoney, because SuperMoney does not operate in India.

SuperMoney (supermoney.com) is based in Santa Ana, California and serves consumers in the United States.   We are not a bank and not a lender, so we do not hold a banking license in any country. More on that here.

If you are searching for RBI approval, you are almost certainly looking for super.money, a UPI payments app operated by Flipkart in India. That is a different company with no connection to us. Questions about RBI licensing, NPCI registration, UPI transactions, or the Axis Bank SuperMoney RuPay credit card should go to super.money.

What SuperMoney is accountable to

For U.S. consumers, here is our actual compliance posture:

  • SOC 2 Type II certified, audited under AICPA standards and continuously monitored by Vanta
  • 256-bit encryption in transit and at rest, on U.S.-based servers
  • We do not share your personal data with third parties without your explicit consent
  • We are not a lender, a bank, a credit repair company, or a financial advisor
