How to cancel your subscription or turn off auto-renewal
If you'd like to cancel your SuperMoney subscription or free trial, you can do so at any time directly from your account. Canceling turns off auto-renewal, which means you won't be charged again, and no further payment attempts will be made on your account. Follow the simple steps below.
Cancel From Your Account
- Log in to your SuperMoney account at supermoney.com or through the SuperMoney app.
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select My Account from the dropdown menu.
- Click Membership to open your subscription management page.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to cancel. You'll receive a confirmation once the cancellation is complete, and auto-renewal will be turned off.
Cancel Using Your Confirmation Email
When you first signed up, you received a confirmation email with cancellation instructions. You can follow the steps in that email to cancel directly.
Tip: Search your inbox for "SuperMoney subscription" or "SuperMoney membership" to locate the original email.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Free trial users: Be sure to cancel before your trial period ends to avoid being charged. Your cancellation takes effect immediately once processed.
- After canceling, you'll keep access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be applied.
- Turning off auto-renewal also stops automatic payment retries. If a payment ever fails, our billing system may keep trying to complete it for a period of time. Canceling (turning off auto-renewal) ends those attempts, so you won't be charged unexpectedly later.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does canceling turn off auto-renewal?
Yes. Canceling your subscription turns off auto-renewal, so you won't be billed for the next period. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Will I be charged if I cancel during my free trial?
No. If you cancel before your free trial ends, you won't be charged. We recommend canceling as soon as you've decided, so you don't forget.
My payment failed and my access paused — could I still be charged later?
Possibly. If a payment doesn't go through, our billing system keeps trying for up to 30 days, and a later successful attempt can reactivate your subscription and charge you. To prevent this, turn off auto-renewal (cancel) so no further attempts are made. If you were charged unexpectedly after your subscription had paused, contact us — we review these situations case by case.
Can I re-subscribe after canceling?
Absolutely! You're welcome to reactivate at any time by going to My Account > Membership and choosing a plan.
I can't find the cancellation option. What should I do?
If you're having trouble locating it, please reach out to our support team and we'll be happy to help. Contact us through the Help Center or by emailing support@supermoney.com.
Will I lose my account data after canceling?
No. Canceling does not delete your SuperMoney account. Your information and history remain available if you choose to return.
