I never applied for a loan, why did you email me about an application?
If you received an email notification from SuperMoney about a loan application that you didn’t submit, it’s likely that someone mistyped their email address and accidentally entered yours.
What You Can Do
No Action Needed (if it’s a typo): If you believe this was simply a case of mistaken identity and not related to your personal information, you don’t need to take any further action. You will not be held responsible for any activity that you did not initiate.
Suspect Identity Theft?
If you think your personal information may have been used without your consent, we recommend taking the following steps:
- Freeze your credit with the major credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) to help prevent new accounts from being opened in your name.
- Report suspicious activity to the Federal Trade Commission at identitytheft.gov.
- Monitor your accounts for any unusual activity.
If you have further concerns or questions, feel free to contact our support team (support@supermoney.com). We’re here to help.
